Cairo (Al-Qahera in Arabic) is located north of Egypt, on the coast of the Nile, near where the river forms a delta. It is the largest and most popular tourist city in Africa, called the city of a thousand minarets. We will give you the opportunity to get acquainted with the most famous sights of Cairo.

“The Hanging Church” which dates back to the 3rd century AD. and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and is so called because it is located above the gates of the ancient Roman fortress “Babylon”.

Jewish synagogue. This building originally housed the church of St. Michael the Archangel. Subsequently, the church was closed and the building was bought by the Jewish community.
The first stop on the Coptic Quarter will be a visit to the "Hanging Church", which dates back to the 3rd century AD and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and they call it "Hanging" because it is located above the gates of the ancient Roman fortress "Babylon". And we will finish our tour of Coptic Cairo with a visit to the Monastery of St. Simon Tanner or "Cave Church", near the slum of Zababeylen. This church is the largest church in the Middle East. It got its name after the Coptic Saint Simon Tanner, who lived in the end of 10th century. St. Simon Tanner Monastery includes St. Bola Church, St. Mark's Church, and St. Simon Tanner Hall.
