2-Day Abu Simbel & Luxor Tour

With domestic flights included, explore the sights of Abu Simbel, Aswan and Luxor on a 2-day tour leaving from Cairo. Visit the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, the Hatshepsut Temple, and the Karnak Temple.

Day 1: After meeting your representative at your Cairo hotel at 3 AM, depart for Aswan on a domestic aircraft. Arrive at Aswan Airport at 6 AM, where a different representative will meet you and drive you by private transport to Abu Simble.

Visit the magnificent Abu Simbel Temple, which Ramses II carved out of a sandstone rock cliff, first. Be in awe at the carvings of the gods on the massive façade of the temple. Visit the nearby little Temple of the King’s Wife Nefertari, which is devoted to the goddess Hathor. Transfer to your accommodation in Aswan for the night at Hotel .
Day 2: After having your breakfast at the hotel, a representative will pick you up and take you to Luxor. Begin the day by travelling to the West Bank to see the Temple of Deir El Bahari and the Valley of the Kings, which is home to the tombs of numerous dynasties. Stop by the Colossi of Memnon on the way back; they are two enormous statues of Amenophis III sitting and facing the Nile. Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut after that.
Get picked up by the agent and transported to Luxor following breakfast at the hotel.
