On this tour of the West Bank of Luxor, see the Valley of the Kings, the Collossi of Memnon, and the Hatshepsut Temple. You’ll also have the chance to go into several notable pharaohs’ tombs.
Start your tour of Luxor’s West Bank by being picked up from your hotel in the morning. Visit the Valley of the Kings first thing in the morning to see the graves of many of Egypt’s greatest kings. See three tombs in addition to the King Tutankhamun tomb.
See the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut next, which was constructed by Egypt’s most well-known female pharaoh, Queen Hatshepsut. Later, eat lunch at a nearby eatery before being driven back to your hotel in Luxor so you can unwind before the light show. Go to the Karnak Temples at night to see the magnificent Sound and Light Show, which tells the narrative of Luxor. Explore the temple grounds and take in their illuminations during this 75-minute performance before seeing the grand finale at the Great Sacred Lake. Arrive back to your hotel and be dropped off at the end of the night.
