Take a 2-night trip from Aswan to Luxor along the River Nile. See well-known historical sites like the Valley of the Kings close to Luxor, the Temple of Horus at Edfu, and the Philae Temple.
day 1: Start by being picked up at 8:00 AM from your Aswan hotel. See the stunning Philae Temple, which was erected in honour of Isis, first. Next, head to the incredible High Dam, a feat of engineering constructed in 1960 to shield the surrounding areas from the periodic Nile floods. After that, proceed to the cruise check-in before departing at about 2:00 PM. Take a relaxing boat in the afternoon and get to the Temple of Kom Ombo in time for sunset. The Sobek and Horus deities were worshipped in this stunning temple. Keep sailing until Edfu, where the ship will make a stop for the night.
day 2: Get up early and have breakfast before taking a horse-drawn carriage to the Edfu Temple of Horus. Important scenes and inscriptions from the Sacred Drama, which narrates the story of the fight between Horus and Seth, may be found in this ancient temple. When sailing to Luxor, return to the cruise ship for afternoon tea. On the route, pass through Esna lock, and around 7:00 PM you will arrive in Luxor.
Day 3: Visit the Valley of the Kings, which is close to Luxor, on the third day. With your guide, go around the grounds and through the Royal Tombs. See the Queen Hatshepsut Temple in Deir El Bahari. Egypt’s first female Pharaoh was Queen Hatsheput. the Colossi of Memnon, which are situated facing the Nile.
Take a trip to the Karnak Temple Complex, which was built in honour of Amun and Mut, his wife. Pass past the iconic Great Hypostyle Hall’s enormous pillars. The Hittites and the Egyptians signed the earliest known peace pact, which is on display in Karnak Temple. On a wall in the Temple of Amun at Karnak, the Egyptian text of the pact was kept. Saw the magnificent Luxor Temple and the Ramses II Obelisk in front of the first pylon after that. After that, you’ll be taken to the airport or train station for your last departure.
