From Luxor- 2 Day Private Trip to Edfu, Aswan and Abu Simbel

Visit Egypt’s most important historic sites, such as the Edfu and Kom Ombo temples. Find sandstone buildings and historical artefacts. Explore Aswan and Abu Simbel to the fullest with the help of an Egyptologist.

Day 1 : After being promptly picked up from your Luxor hotel, go on a two-day excursion with a certified tour guide to Kom Ombo, Edfu, Aswan, and Abu Simbel. While travelling to the ancient Temple of Horus in Edfu, take pleasure in the journey while learning about Egyptian history and mythology. Explore the sandstone buildings that represent Horus, popularly known as the God of Protection, when you arrive at the Temple of Horus. The Temple of Kom Ombo, located at the eastern bank of the River Nile, is the next destination. Learn about the design of this temple and how two of the most revered gods of the time, Sobek and Horus, were honoured in its construction.  You will be dropped off at your Aswan hotel (reserved by you, not by the tour operator), where you will spend the night, following sightseeing, a sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan, and a wonderful shopping experience.

Day 2 : Get picked up from your Aswan accommodation and tour the Abu Simbel Temple Complex. When you arrive, take at the impressive rock temples. After visiting the temple, travel to Aswan to enjoy a delicious lunch. After eating lunch, continue on to the Aswan High Dam. Later, proceed to the Philae Temple, which is situated close to the Aswan Low Dam. At the end of your two-day tour, you will be dropped off at your Aswan hotel, train station, or airport. You might also decide to take a transfer back to Luxor.
