Travel to Luxor, the largest open-air museum in the world, which is located on the east and west banks of the Nile River. An Egyptologist will lead you on a full or half-day tour of temples, artefacts, and tombs.
As you begin your journey in a private air-conditioned car, say hello to your Egyptologist tour guide. Travel in comfort as you explore Luxor’s most significant historical sites.
Depending on your choices, you can choose to tour both the East and West banks of the Nile or just one.
Explore the Valley of Kings on the West Bank, where you can see the magnificent tombs and final resting place of Kings Ramses III, Ramses VI, and Mrenptah.
If you purchased a ticket to the Tutankhamun tomb (available as an add-on), you will then see the most famous Egyptian tomb in the entire world. Continue on to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which is devoted to a female monarch who ruled Egypt for 20 years and brought the nation prosperity and peace. Visit Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple at the Colossi of Memnon before stopping for lunch somewhere nearby. See the Complex of Karnak, which may be the biggest temple in the world, on the East bank. Before leaving, you must stop at the spectacular Luxor Temple, a sizable temple from ancient Egypt that you will have time to visit.
