Take a private day vacation from Cairo to Luxor. Before seeing the Valley of the Kings and sailing on the Nile, start the day with an incredible hot air balloon flight.
After arriving, proceed to the West Bank of Luxor to see The Valley of the Kings, also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings, where rock-cut tombs for the pharaohs and great nobles of the New Kingdom were excavated over a period of roughly 500 years, from the 16th to the 11th century BC.
Then proceed to the Queen Hatshepsut Mortuary Temple, which was constructed under the rule of Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt.
