On this 4-day tour from Cairo that includes meals, explore the beauties of the Nile. Travel to Aswan and listen an Egyptology guide to tour the Philae Temple. Enjoy the scenery as you travel to Edfu and Luxor by boat. A hot-air balloon flight is an optional way to explore the Valley of the Kings and get a bird’s-eye view of the region.
Day 1: Take advantage of the ease of getting picked up from your Cairo lodging and unwind as your driver handles the traffic. After being left off at the Cairo Airport, fly quickly to Aswan. Meet your Egyptology guide at the exit from the arrival hall. Visit the High Dam and the magnificent Philae Temple, both of which were constructed in honour of the island’s primary divinity, the goddess Isis. Join the cruise ship after making the transfer to the Nile River. Relax while you float along the Nile and savour the lunch and dinner that are served onboard. In a warm hut, sleep.
Day 2: Enjoy a substantial breakfast as you cruise through Kom Ombo on the Nile. Observe the unusual Temple of Sobek, which is devoted to the gods Horus, a falcon-headed deity, and Sobek, a crocodile. Visit the Abu Simbel Temple if you get the chance.
Day 3: Enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast in the fresh morning air before exploring Edfu’s well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple to Horus. In Edfu, take a ride in a carriage on horses. Get on the boat and enjoy your lunch and dinner while travelling to Luxor while seeing the breathtaking scenery. Take a meal on board and continue with Edfu. Enjoy a delectable dinner while watching the sunset on board. For the evening, take a nap in your cabin.
Day 4: A morning hot-air balloon flight is an optional way to experience Luxor’s splendour. Receive a transfer to the take off location, then fly over the Valley of the Kings. Before departing for a two-hour trip to the Valley of the King, have breakfast on the boat. Go visit the Hatshepsut Temple to learn more about the first female ruler of Egypt. Visit the Colossi of Memnon to see two enormous statues of Amenhotep III carved out of stone. It takes around two hours to go to the Karnak Temples.
